Do I need a reactor with my drive?
A line reactor is recommended where the supply is stiff or has spikes, where several drives share a bus, or to reduce harmonics. Long motor cables benefit from a load/dv-dt reactor.
What does a harmonic filter do?
It reduces the harmonic current drives draw, lowering THD on your supply to protect other equipment and meet utility limits.
