Meet supply limits
Cut harmonic distortion to comply with utility and standard limits.
Passive and active harmonic filters that cut THD, protect capacitors and keep your supply within utility limits.
Non-linear loads — VFDs, UPS systems, rectifiers and LED drivers — draw current in pulses, distorting the supply waveform. Harmonic filters remove those distortion currents, lowering total harmonic distortion (THD) so cables, transformers and capacitors stop running hot.
We supply ENTES passive filters where the harmonic profile is stable and known, and active filters where the spectrum varies with the load — each sized from your measured harmonic survey.
Cut harmonic distortion to comply with utility and standard limits.
Removes the harmonic currents that overheat plant equipment.
Passive filters for fixed profiles, active filters for a varying spectrum.
We supply trusted principals — Secure, CG Emotron, Invertek Drives, Horner Automation, MECO and ENTES — so you get the right, genuine product.
Tell us your load or application and we recommend the correct rating, class and options — not just what's on the shelf.

A detuned reactor protects capacitors from resonance but does not materially reduce harmonics on your supply. If you need to lower THD — to meet a utility limit or stop equipment overheating — you need a harmonic filter.
Passive filters are cost-effective where the spectrum is stable and dominated by known orders. Active filters track and cancel a changing spectrum, suiting plants with mixed or variable non-linear loads.
From a power-quality survey: we log the harmonic spectrum and magnitudes at the point of connection, then size the filter to bring THD within the target. We can carry out that survey for you.
Send your requirement or load details — we'll recommend the right harmonic filter with a quote, usually within one business day.
