What is an Invertek Optidrive VFD?
Invertek Drives builds the Optidrive family of variable frequency drives, covering 0.5 HP to 400 HP in one consistent range. Every unit ships conformal coated with an inbuilt EMC filter and choke, so it survives humid, dusty and corrosive plant air and installs with less external hardware.
Because the drives deliver full rated output up to 50 °C ambient without derating, you can specify to the motor rating instead of oversizing for a hot panel room — a real saving in South Gujarat conditions. IP20, IP55 and IP66 versions cover everything from clean control panels to machine-mounted washdown duty.

What does “no derating at 50 °C” mean?
Most drives must be oversized when the panel runs hot. Invertek drives deliver full rated output up to 50 °C ambient, so you can specify the drive to the motor rating even in hot panel rooms.
Which IP rating should I choose?
IP20 for inside a clean control panel, IP55 for dusty or damp plant areas, and IP66 for washdown or outdoor duty where the drive mounts on the machine without an enclosure.
Do Invertek drives support permanent magnet and SynRM motors?
Yes — they run induction, permanent magnet, BLDC and synchronous reluctance motors, so you can move to higher-efficiency motor technology without changing drive supplier.
